Earthle shows you the outline of a mystery country and asks you to name it in up to six guesses. What is Earthle?

You are given the silhouette of a country or territory, with no labels, no capital marker, and no surrounding land for reference. You type a guess, and Earthle answers with three pieces of information: how many kilometers your guess sits from the target, a directional arrow that points from your guess toward the real country, and a color that signals proximity. Green means you found it, orange means you are very close, and yellow means you are at least warm. You have up to six guesses, and you use each arrow and distance to swing your next guess in the right direction.

How to play Earthle

Open Earthle at earthle.capitalle.app.
Look closely at the mystery country outline shown at the top of the board.
Type the name of a country you think it might be and submit your guess.
Read the three clues that come back: the distance in kilometers, the direction arrow, and the proximity color.
Use the arrow and distance to steer your next guess toward the target country.
Keep guessing, up to six tries, until the proximity color turns green, then share your result to keep your streak going.

Tips and strategy

Start with a guess near the middle of a large landmass so the first distance and arrow give you the widest read on where the country sits.
Trust the direction arrow before the shape. The bearing narrows the whole map faster than trying to eyeball the outline.
Watch the distance drop between guesses to gauge whether you are closing in or overshooting, then adjust the size of your next jump.
When the color turns orange you are very close, so name immediate neighbors of your last guess rather than making another big move.
Learn to recognize distinctive silhouettes like Italy, Chile, or Norway, since a clear outline can win the puzzle before you need the clues.
With only six guesses, save your remaining tries when you are unsure. A single well-placed guess to confirm a bearing is often worth more than a hopeful stab at the answer.
