How to play Dotadle

• Treat a yellow in the roles column as a partial signal: it means you share at least one role with the answer but not the full set, so keep varying role profiles in later guesses.
• Watch the release-year arrow to decide between older classic heroes and newer additions like Primal Beast or Muerta, rather than guessing years at random.
• Use the complexity arrow alongside roles, since a high-complexity answer points you toward trickier heroes and away from straightforward carries or supports.
• If you also play the Quote, Ability, and Loading Screen modes, remember the clues are based on original English voice lines and in-game art, so recall how a hero actually sounds and looks rather than relying only on stats.
