What is Anidle?

The core loop is deduction from partial information. You begin with a small amount to go on and type a title into the guess box. If you are wrong, Anidle does not just tell you to try again. It reveals another clue. That might be a sharper screenshot from the show, or metadata pulled from MyAnimeList such as the genres, the descriptive tags, the studio that produced it, the year it aired, or the bracket its MAL score falls into. So a wrong guess is not a wasted turn. It narrows the field from thousands of shows toward the one you are hunting.

What separates Anidle from single-franchise character guessers like anidle.moe, a Narutodle-style game built around one series, is its scope and its clue mix. Anidle asks you to identify the anime title across all of anime, not the name of a character inside one show. It pairs the visual read of a screenshot with database facts from MyAnimeList, so you cross-check what your eyes see against what the metadata tells you. That mix of picture and stats is what the game is about.

There are a few ways to play. Alongside the main clue-based mode, the wider game offers screenshot, character, opening, and ending guessing challenges. The daily puzzle gives you a limited number of guesses, and there is a separate unlimited mode for when you want to keep going after the daily is solved. Tips and strategy

• Read the art style before the plot. Line work, shading, and character proportions often pin down the studio and the era faster than the scene content does.
• Treat every wrong guess as a probe. Guessing a show you half-suspect can unlock a genre or tag that rules out large chunks of the catalog.
• Use the MyAnimeList score range to filter. A very high range points toward well-known standout titles rather than obscure ones.
• When the studio clue appears, list that studio's notable shows from the year shown and check them against what you have seen.
• Because the daily puzzle limits your guesses, spend early guesses on distinct candidates that open useful clues rather than on near-identical variants of one title.
• Play the unlimited mode to build a feel for how the clues progress before you spend guesses on the daily puzzle.
